• No voice recordings uploaded - All audio stays on your device
• No dream content analyzed - We never read or process your dreams
• No personal identification - We don't collect names, emails, or phone numbers
• No location tracking - We don't track where you are
• No browsing behavior - We don't track what you do in the app
• No social media integration - Your dreams aren't connected to other platforms

Local Storage Only

All your dream recordings, mood tags, schedules, and app settings are stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage systems. This means:

• Your dreams are protected by your device's security (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode)
• No cloud servers store your personal content
• No internet connection required to use the app
• Complete control over your data

App Permissions

Dofu Player requests only the minimum permissions needed for core functionality:

• Microphone Access: Required to record your voice messages
• Notifications: Optional, used only for scheduled dream reminders

You can revoke these permissions at any time through iOS Settings.

Data Backup and Sync

Dofu Player data is included in your device's standard iOS backup (iCloud or iTunes). This backup is:

• Encrypted and managed by Apple, not by us
• Only accessible by you with your Apple ID
• Controlled by your iOS backup settings

Analytics and Crash Reporting

To improve the app experience, we may collect anonymous technical information:

• App crashes and performance issues (no personal content)
• Basic usage statistics (like how often features are used)
• Device type and iOS version for compatibility

This data is completely anonymous and cannot be linked to you personally.

Third-Party Services

Dofu Player minimizes third-party integrations. Any services we use are privacy-focused:

• No advertising networks
• No social media SDKs
• No user tracking services

Children's Privacy

Dofu Player is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all data stays on the device, there's no personal information transmitted regardless of age.

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete individual dreams anytime within the app
• Clear all app data through the Settings screen
• Uninstalling the app removes all data from your device

Changes to Privacy Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last Updated" date above and notify users through the app. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
